Best-Siesta-Key-Beach-Bars

Coming to Siesta Key is like coming to a slice of heaven on earth. Siesta Key beach bars are unlike any other in Sarasota. They range from laid back to more upscale but they all offer a vibe that says ‘come and stay awhile.’ Guests love to come to the beaches by day but also grab a bite or a pint and chat with locals, or each other while enjoying the views. Check out some of the best beach bars Siesta Key has to offer.

Beach Club Siesta Key

5151 Ocean Blvd, Sarasota

Beach Club is an unofficial spot for nightlife in Siesta Key. With over 70 years in business, it features a lively set of music including live bands and DJs to keep you entertained long into the nighttime. Beach Club offers Ladies Night on Wednesdays, Sink or Swim on Thursdays and half-off specials on Mondays. Happy hour is from 12-7 p.m. each day. Food such as pizza is served to hungry customers.

Siesta Key Oyster Bar

5238 Ocean Blvd, Sarasota

Siesta Key Oyster Bar (SKOB) is one of the staples among Siesta Key beach bars. SKOB owner, Jill Pedigo, moved from Naperville, Illinois to Osprey, Florida with her love of Chicago Bears in full effect. She and her father went to a sports bar to watch the game but it wasn’t a great experience. Her dad mentioned opening a bar to get a good spot to catch the game and the rest is history. Every Sunday during football season, Siesta Key Oyster Bar becomes a full-on sports bar with Bears on every channel. Award-winning food is served alongside craft beer and cocktails to make you remember why you’re in the tropics. Enjoy fresh, seasonal ingredients and sustainably-grown produce. Try some specialty baked oysters, Maine mussels, or award-winning wings with jerked dry rub and stormy sauce. You just have to try it to know. Soups, salads, and SKOB classics round out a great menu of fresh seafood including blackened Mahi, beer-battered fish & chips, and seafood tacos.

Daiquiri Deck

5238 Ocean Blvd, Sarasota

Siesta Key Village in Sarasota is world-famous for sandy beaches and beautiful vistas. It is also famous for amazing seafood, served right at Daiquiri Deck and Raw Bar. Live music, Beer Pong, and Corn Hole are some of the entertainment options in this casual space offering friendly service and amazing food. Try one of their frozen daiquiris to see why they’re called the best while sharing appetizers including Gator Bites and Conch Fritters, fresh from Sarasota waters. Don’t forget to nibble on shrimp and try the BBQ Pork Riblets. Soups and salads are also offered for lighter fare. Stop by one of five locations in Siesta Key Village, St. Armand’s Circle, South Siesta Key, and more. Get ready to hit the Deck and have some fun.

Boatyard Waterfront Bar and Grill

1500 Stickney Point Road, Sarasota

The Boatyard on Siesta Key’s gorgeous waterfront offers amazing views of the Intracoastal Waterway. Very few places boast access to this view while sipping a beverage and dining on delicious food. Enjoy the boats as they go sailing by in this one-of-a-kind dining spot. Several spots are offered from covered areas to open-air seating. Drinks are cold and the food is fresh. Enjoy some dancing at this local hot spot on the water’s edge. Island nachos, conch fritters, fresh salads, Mahi Mahi and snow crab is just some of the food on offer along with a great atmosphere and drinks to round out a great dining experience.
