Siesta Key Oyster Bar
5238 Ocean Blvd, Sarasota
Siesta Key Oyster Bar (SKOB) is one of the staples among Siesta Key beach bars. SKOB owner, Jill Pedigo, moved from Naperville, Illinois to Osprey, Florida with her love of Chicago Bears in full effect. She and her father went to a sports bar to watch the game but it wasn’t a great experience. Her dad mentioned opening a bar to get a good spot to catch the game and the rest is history. Every Sunday during football season, Siesta Key Oyster Bar becomes a full-on sports bar with Bears on every channel. Award-winning food is served alongside craft beer and cocktails to make you remember why you’re in the tropics. Enjoy fresh, seasonal ingredients and sustainably-grown produce. Try some specialty baked oysters, Maine mussels, or award-winning wings with jerked dry rub and stormy sauce. You just have to try it to know. Soups, salads, and SKOB classics round out a great menu of fresh seafood including blackened Mahi, beer-battered fish & chips, and seafood tacos.
